How does a Chemical Peel work?
A chemical solution is applied to the skin being treated. It will make the skin peel for about 5-7 days. The new regenerated skin will be much smoother, tighter, thicker, firmer and less wrinkled.
What are the side effects and risks?
Possible risks and side effects include but are not limited to: bruising, redness, irritation, discomfort, peeling, flaking, swelling, crusting, scabbing, pigmentation changes, infection, and increased sensitivity to the sun. May resolve in 5-7 days or possibly longer.
